Description
With 230 calories, 23g of protein, 25g of carbs, and just under 10g of fat per bar, these are perfect for a post-workout snack or a guilt-free treat. Unlike store-bought protein bars packed with artificial sweeteners, fillers, and hard-to-pronounce ingredients, these bars are made with simple, wholesome ingredients like almond flour, oat flour, cottage cheese, and maple syrup.

Instructions
1. Make the Cookie Dough:
-
In a large bowl, stir together the protein powder, almond flour, oat flour, maple syrup, and almond milk until a dough forms. Fold in chocolate chips.
2. Divide and Press:
-
Divide the dough in half. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Press one half of the dough evenly into the bottom of the pan. Cover with parchment paper and press the other half of the dough on top to form a sandwich. Place the pan in the freezer.
3. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling:
-
While the dough chills, blend the cottage cheese, reduced-fat cream cheese, maple syrup, and protein powder in a blender until smooth and creamy.
4. Assemble the Bars:
-
Remove the cookie dough from the freezer. Carefully peel off the top layer of dough and set it aside. Spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the bottom layer of dough in the pan. Place the top layer of dough back on top.
5. Freeze and Slice:
-
Return the assembled bars to the freezer for 1.5 hours to set. Once firm, remove from the pan and slice into 8 bars.
